Access to Music runs its Manchester operation from the Cutting Rooms in Crumpsall about 2 miles north of the city centre.
The Cutting Rooms have an iconic status in the region with close ties to the Manchester music scene. Bands including Oasis, Take That and the Charlatans have all laid down tracks here. The Doves recorded tracks here for their critically-acclaimed album The Last Broadcast. Status Quo and even the Manchester United Squad have also made recordings here.
The centre provides industry-standard facilities for apprentices and students to record and produce their own music, cut demos and develop skills to set up businesses in the music industry.
