Access to Music is proud to announce a new partnership with NR5 Project in Norwich. The NR5 Project is a community based registered charity working with young people and adults. It provides an open access venue that delivers services and activities including: education, leisure, media training, music studio facilities and training - ICT facilities, community radio broadcasting and training and citizenship and wider community engagement.
NR5 is based in a purpose-built radio, music and media studios called Future Studios. This is a purpose-built environment, acoustically designed and constructed to a high specification. The studios are equipped with the very latest sound and recording technology including a Pro-Tools system. Studios A and B, as well as the control room benefit from silent air-conditioning and a high level of sound isolation from the outside world.
There are facilities to record a single vocalist right up to a small orchestra in fully professional surroundings. The studios are available for rehearsal and have all the equipment for bands and musicians just starting out to produce demos and CDs. The studios are linked to the Future Radio studios allowing live radio broadcasts of bands and musicians.
Out training areas provide opportunities to learn Apple Logic and Propellorhead Reason software.
