BBC airplay for Circus Envy
Circus Envy’s latest track has caught the attention of many as it’s played on BBC folk shows across the country and sets the wheels in motion for more exciting projects. The track Three Score and Ten has been received airplay from many BBC shows including Mike Harding’s Folk programme on Radio 2 and they are now working with the BBC writing music for “A Symphony for Yorkshire”. The project will not only be aired on BBC Radio but a documentary is also being made for BBC 4 about the production of the piece.

Sights set on Surface Unsigned Festival
Incubated have made it through to the next round after impressing judges once again as they made it through the second round of national competition The Surface Unsigned Festival. They will now go on to play in the Regional Semi Final next month. The winner of the festival gets the chance to perform at the 02 Arena! The winners are decided by a combination of factors including audience votes and votes from a specialist panel. This includes industry representatives from magazines such as Kerrang and Mojo, record label representatives and top musicians.
Incubated formed whilst studying on the Performing Musician course and are currently endorsed by international guitar manufacturers Hagstrom. Check out Incubated here
The Mark Robinson Experience
Accomplished musician Mark Robinson has been hard at work composing an instrumental football song- Spot the Ball.
After working on the track whilst studying on the performing musician course with Access to music, the song was snapped up by music publishers Red Admiral Records and is available for download now. Listen to Spot the Ball
iTunes hit for ex student
Ex student Pat Dooner released his third album, Soulscapes & Jazz Breaks with Lady Paradox just before Christmas in the UK & Europe. They shortly released the album in Japan and it soared in the charts reaching number one in the iTunes Hip-Hop chart and 34 in the overall Japanese iTunes chart!
The album features a track with Benjamin Zephaniah and was released to a welcoming audience, with Pat’s previous releases in Japan, including Kind of Peace (2007) and solo album Take a Little Time (2008), paving the way for success! Visit his myspace
