Peter Hook supports Manchester ATM students
ATM students at Trafford College showcased their talents in 2008 for the first ever Manchester Music Base Live show. Special guest and music legend Peter Hook of Joy Division/ New Order fame was on hand offering praise to the wide range of college bands and vocal artists who took to the stage.

Singer-songwriter Damon Valentine supported Badly Drawn Boy and Elbow at a John Lennon Charity Event held at the Royal Northern College of Music.
Andy Ross
Songwriter Andy Ross has clocked up an impressive CV, including a performance at Buckingham Palace for Prince Charles’ 50th birthday celebrations, a tour supporting Ian Brown and more recently signing an international publishing deal with Clippers Music. At 14, he was the youngest songwriter ever to be admitted as a member of the PRS. Since then he has gone on to gig extensively with his band Al!ve, including a unique partnership with Yamaha which saw them tour to schools around the country.
Opening of New Music Centre
Trafford College's new £1.5 million music centre was officially opened in September 2007. Peter Hook of Joy Division/New Order and Mani from the Stone Roses/Primal Scream were at the launch event. Read More >>
