Step 5 Help
  • Step 5 is where you can tell us why you want to apply for your chosen course.
  • Question 1 is a text box area for you to write a personal statement to support your application. The more you can tell us, the better. Think about reasons you want to do the course. What relevant musical experience have you already got? Tell us about any other interests you have outside of music. The text area is limited to 2000 characters. If you go over this the form will not submit and you will need to edit your statement.
  • Question 2 is about what your career goals are. We will be looking to see how your chosen course will help you towards those aims. You might be thinking along the lines of music artist, sound engineer, music manager, producer, composer, event organiser etc.
  • Question 2 and 3 are about you telling us you main musical skill and any additional skill you may have on top. So you could be a guitarist and also a songwriter/composer.
  • Question 5 is really important to us to help us improve our marketing and guidance to applicants.
  • Question 6 is your opportunity to link to any music, video, photos or other relevant work which you have stored on the internet. This might be a Facebook account, a Soundcloud account, a You Tube video or a Myspace account. It might be your own website.
  • When you submit you will see a pop up telling you you have applied for your chosen course. You will also receive an email confirmation. If you want to apply for another course, please choose a course from the menu and follow the same procedure.
