Length:        Two year Extended Diploma
Level:           Level 3 (A Level equivalent)

If you love computer games and would like to design your own, then these courses are perfect for you. Our Level 3 course is:

  • Focused on designing new computer games, from conception and modelling to testing and release.
  • Flexible and creative, allowing you to explore the worlds of environments, character modelling and rigging, digital animation, graphics and user interface and user experience design.
  • Linked to business, allowing you to explore your future career. Creative industries in the UK are out-performing almost all other areas of the UK economy and now support over 1.7 million jobs.
  • Delivered using industry-standard computer games software Unreal Engine. Taught by media specialists.
  • Assessed via project work, rather than exams, leading to nationally-recognised BTEC qualifications.
  • Ideal for school leavers aged 16+ looking to work in games design and the creative industries.
  • Designed to give you more than media - you will also gain valuable job skills and life skills.
  • Delivered at Birmingham, Manchester and Norwich.
