ACCESS TO MUSIC AT
GIGBETH 2007

For 2007, Gigbeth moves to the first weekend of November to coincide with Music Live. The Gigbeth weekend will feature a music industry conference and will see a range of musicians performing in selected venues in the Birmingham region. The diversity of music ranges from pop, rock, hip hop and R’n’B, to jazz, choral, gospel and bhangra.

Performances from young musicians will also take place under the Gigbeth ‘Platform G’ scheme which gives talented 15-19 year olds the opportunity to perform alongside professional musicians.

Access to Music will be offering the following activities:

• Busker’s Corner at South Birmingham College Student Union on Saturday 3 November.
• ATOM Live event on the main venue stage at South Birmingham College featuring acts from ATM Studios Birmingham: Saturday 3 November 14.00-21.00.
