RADIO 1'S EDITH BOWMAN
PRAISEs ATM STUDENTS

Edith Bowman sang the praises of Access to Music students live to the nation on her Radio 1 show after seeing them perform at ATM's annual Awards Ceremony.

The event took place on 5 December 2007 at London's Mermaid Theatre. Edith Bowman presented awards to musicians from across the country'.

Edith said: 'James Morrison was involved in Access to Music before he hit the big time, so it ís always a good place to look out for up-and-coming talent.

Edith singled out DJ Chrome (Mike Walkenden) and Jodi Lawrence for special praise: 'The performances yesterday were incredible. A guy called Chrome, who looks like a British Eminem: he's amazing; he was brilliant. There was a band from Birmingham fronted by Jodi Lawrence with blond hair who’s got so much attitude it’s amazing'.

Edith summed up the night: 'Well done to everyone yesterday and congratulations to all those who picked up awards. Look out for those people: you never know they might be big stars of the future!'.
