NITIN SAWHNEY VISITS ACCESS TO MUSIC, BRIGHTON

Access to Music was proud to host an exclusive performance and audience with their patron, Nitin Sawhney at the Pavilion Theatre, Brighton in June.

Nitin, a worldwide acclaimed musician and composer gave the audience an exclusive insight into his background, influences and how he made his first breaks in the music industry.

In addition, over the captivating two hours, Nitin showed excerpts from his televised performances for the Electric Proms at the Roundhouse in Camden. He outlined his current projects, from composing and working with the Prague Philharmonic Orchestra on the soundtrack to the new Sony game ‘Heavenly Sword”, to his work composing the soundtrack for the remake of an Indian silent classic film.

With such a wealth and diversity of talent, the audience were thoroughly inspired and their questions kept coming. Nitin gave an undeniably beautiful and moving performance of his piece ‘Tides’ from his first album and an amazing rendition on flamenco guitar.

It was a privilege and inspiration for the audience to see and hear such a diverse, eloquent and talented musician and composer.

There is no doubt his works and words will inspire.
